Laurel Cottage

Everything about it was good. The staff did all they can for the best stay. The rooms were very warm and cosy. Breakfast was gorgeous with cereal and cheese available. Unbeatable location to lake windermere.

The place was functional, nothing too much trouble, can't recommend highly enough. The staff was motivated and owner too. Had gorgeous room with four poster bed, a shower, for example for a fantastic stay. The breakfast was included and consisted of slices of fresh bread, cheese, milk, pastries and coffee.

The reason we really enjoyed it was superb location and atmosphere. Very comfy beds, iron/ironing board, a sitting area and a radio were a nice touch.

An energetic hotel in Windermere. Unique spot, exquisite service and large breakfast. Set a short walk to restaurants and pubs, it was a plus. Generally everything was incredible, yet the bathroom was way too small. Staff were eager to help, including the host.

Pleasurable location, freshly cooked breakfast and kind staff. The suite we stayed in was stunning and delightful. Moreover, we could park our car on site.

Think that Laurel is beyond compare. The whole building was spotlessly clean and had a friendly atmosphere. We liked our coffee with goodies at Cafe Italia. The beds and pillow were comfortable.

Thank you, you are dope! Free Wi Fi was working perfectly. Owner was lovely. We had canopy beds and we all slept well. Moreover, hotel's parking is nearby. Location was excellent, just 1 km to old town😀

Stay in this hotel if you wish to explore lake windermere. We go there often, and strongly recommend it to all.

Superb breakfast and comfortable bed. Just a walk down to Cafe Italia, where you can have lunch.
